But to your OP, conservatism has libertarian elements. Republican does not necessarily mean conservative. Any politician’s vote is going to be scrutinized. You want scrutiny on his. There is plenty in every thread about Massie. He is definitely not above reproach. None of them are.

So it’s my fault I start political threads on a political board and it irritates some so much they immediately derail the thread and start calling me names? Why can’t they just ignore the threads or simply answer the question? Would you care to see some of the stuff that has been said to me? Why is it always the same group of people who attack me?

Yes and I’ve made threads about them. You’re free to actually look at my post history. In fact most of my Massie threads are directly from his own twitter.

Also, many view Massie as a Libertarian purist which is problematic in practice. I don’t think he is that though. I personally believe he thought with all three chambers being Republican, there would be more fiscal responsibility and less interventionism. I believe he has genuine disagreements with the President, whereas Democrats will vote against anything whether it is good or bad just because they hate him.

Which is why he never attacks his own legislature, but has voted with democrats, didnt vote to censure ilhan Omar, spends time on the Epstein files but not congressional hush fund and has some personal war with the president. Again I also don’t think I’m just critical over small things. Trump is one person I’m worried about the 535 who don’t do shite and that hasn’t changed one bit, even controlling the house, senate and executive. Trump has signed 100% of Massie’s bills but Massie has been against many of his own party leaders agenda.
