re: Is Letlow’s rout a hint on how mid terms will be for Republicans?

Of course. She is to the left of Cassidy.
Lemme guess: Cassidy's brutal attack ads against his most threatening opponent convinced you to vote for John Fleming--a guy you'd never heard of a year or so ago despite being a Louisiana politician for 15 years, and now you're stuck to believing Cassidy no matter what.
See the light. Letlow is far more conservative than Cassidy told you. And it's time for Fleming to Treasure the time he has left.

Being a professor doesn’t mean you have any business being a legislator. The academic world is not the real world.

Most Americans never earn a doctorate degree. Very few become senior university executives. Even fewer serve in the United States Congress. Not to mention that she has done all of this while raising two children as a windowed mother following the death of her husband. And, she’s only 45 years old.
Seriously, dude??

Maybe you have. Maybe you haven't. Either way you flippantly made a comment about Letlow being to the left of Cassidy.
On what planet would Trump endorse a candidate to the left of Cassidy when the goal was to oust Cassidy?
It's okay for the Fleming Fluffers to be excited. You should be. It's a big night for him. Nobody's arguing that he's not conservative. But your fantasy about Letlow being some liberal is nothing more than what Cassidy hammered you with for the last few months.
Literally nobody was calling Letlow some left wing liberal over the last six years she's been in office.

Correct. She got an easy, meaningless degree and got married to a guy who died. The GOP recognized that they could make her comfortable for life by giving her the slot. It’s that simple.
She has done nothing, ever. If she’s elected she may would actually be the least accomplished Senator to ever hold federal office from Louisiana, if not across the board. It cannot be emphasized enough that the only reason you know her name is because her husband died.

Please stop embarrassing yourself.
If the degree she earned was easy why don’t you have one???
Oh, and I forgot to mention, she’s also about to be a United States Senator. Add that to her resume’.

I’m happy for her. Will you let her know when to click the button for yes or no? Im assuming Ainsworth will work his magic for her going forward.

Seems you've got some deep seated bitterness issues little fella. Almost relentless--so to speak--with your hatred.
Everything okay at home? You can talk about it here.

I just want someone to tell me a single accomplishment that this woman’s ever had beyond being ex-wife of someone that people did actually vote for. That is, now that she’s mucking around with the lobbying types, I’m sure she thinks she’s just Strom Thurmond.

Don’t pretend you’re “happy for her” while spending the whole campaign hoping she would lose.
How about showing some self-respect and just acknowledge she won and move on?

Don't they all, eventually?
Such a petty way to say such a thing. You sound jaded and foolish and I don't know anything about the lady.

This person literally got placed into Congress so that they would get the pension afforded to members of Congress, simply because her husband died.
She has never accomplished anything ever.
How far should we go in celebrating her?
Automatic Senate seat? President? SCOTUS?

There's a cavern between celebrating someone and acting like an empty ballsack about it.

You really are unhinged, fella. You seem to have an unusual preoccupation with Luke’s death.
Don’t worry, you can donate again to someone else in 6 years. Assuming you haven’t had a coronary between now and then.

No, I simply have knowledge of the reason Julia…let’s say….”chose” to “serve.”
If you want to pretend to be offended, you can. But you and I both know.
