Is it ethical for taxpayer dollars to cover up/hide the cost of ACA plans?

Trump is rightfully criticized for bailing out farmers impacted by his tariffs.
So, why are juiced ACA subsidies that go beyond the original subsidies as signed into law by BO any different? It’s using taxpayer money to politically shield yourself from bad policy.
What’s worse is that the the temporary ACA juiced subsidies are primarily benefiting wealthy early retirees, which is inappropriate

This is what I mean
This couple was so wealthy, they were able to retire in their early 50s.
Covid era subsidies were shielding them from the true cost of their health plan

Thats why sooooo many pension plans are in trouble.
Unions sit down with governors, mayors, etc and ask for guaranteed pay raises they know cant be approved, so they say okay we want to put retirement at 62 or 30 years. Then the next election they want 75% of highest pay earned.
Then the last year of work they put in 80 hours of work with double or triple time and they retire with a wage that is far beyond what their average was the previous few years.
Politicians dont care because they will be long gone before the repercussions of those decisions hit the fan.
