Equal protection under the law is the only feasible equality.

We should have castes. Born into group b. Not even allowed to dream.

Your wife sounds terrible.

But the head makes up for it.

When you think about it, all the great chefs are male. My dad was a great cook. My mom could make a bologna sammich and that's it. My first wife could only bake banana bread. That was useless because I didn't eat banana bread and neither did she. She just made it, put it on the counter for a week and then threw it away. This went on once a month for 17 years.

The only equal in this world exists in math.

Black = white,

Means black same as white,

Which is inherently false.

Equality is not even an ideal we should strive for. We should strive for the freedom to be as UNEQUAL as we want.

never even seen the movie. I'm just laughing at all the insecure people making these ridiculous claims about women only being good in the kitchen and being whores. Hopefully most of the people are in here trolling, but I know some of these crazies actually feel this way.

are we all equal?

Take an IQ test.

Run 100m dash.

No, we are not equal, and one of the greatest issues with today's world --- is having to PRETEND THAT WE ARE.

IF everyone was equal then everyone would be either as advanced as West or as backwards as certain societes on a certain continent who still live as though the stone age never ended.

Better still, since the caste system is completely alien to our culture and ethnic traditions, let's import millions of people brought up in countries with centuries of practice implementing similarly regimented societies, and let them transform us.

Isn't that the plan, anyway?

We shouldn't strive to be equal but rather we should strive to have equal opportunity.

"Equality" (to me) means we should be judged on the same IQ test. It means if we are to be judged on the 100m dash then we should have the same starting line and finish line.

Obviously real life is much more complicated and people will undoubtedly be born into situations that give them advantages or disadvantages.

I think some people get aggravated because (using the example above) they feel that some people are starting the 100m dash halfway down the track simply because their father was a fast sprinter.

There's no way to change that though, even if one wanted to.

Well, here's a start: destroy the tradition of family and have every child get equal, state controlled upbringing.
