I never thought I’d live to see the day where Americans would be defending Iran, especially fellow conservative Americans. I’m not saying I support us bombing Iran. But damn, to actually support Iran? Not wanting to side with Israel doesn’t mean you have to side with freaking Iran. Some of y'all have lost your damned minds.

We allied with the Mujahideen in Afghanistan to fight the Soviets. We armed them, funded them and put them in positions of authority they otherwise never would have had. Most of these fighters were Sunni radicals from the Gulf states. After the war, the Mujahideen either stayed in Afghanistan to fight the Najibullah government (Taliban), or they returned home and began planning terrorist activities against the West (Al Qaeda) and their perceived puppet regimes in the Muslim world.
