Hearing rumors of an important Iranian national killed in the retaliation. Nothing confirmed yet.

Hashd al-Shaabi confirms that its head of relations 2 persons accompanying him and 3 guests (probably Iranians) were targeted on Baghdad Airport road.
#Iraq

Interesting to find out who was in that second SUV, who were the guests? IRGC?

Do you really think a random SUV on the airport outskirts is random?

And there is the confirmation:

So, were these missiles launched by Iranian national forces from Iranian soil? Or was this Hezbollah? Because the proper way to respond to the two are different.

I get your point, I really do. But even if this was Hezbollah with Iranian ties, I'm getting to the point that the response should be the same as if it were launched by Iranian national forces.

Was the terrorist bombing of Pan Am flight 103 caused by Libyan national forces at the time? No, it wasn't; It was caused by filthy muslim terrorists supported and sponsored by Gaddafi. Just the same way that the Mullahs of Iran support and export terrorism and murder through their proxies. I would argue that the the response should fall to the head of the Iranian "government."

Same in degree. Not same in direction. Look, Iran (or Afghanistan, or Iraq, or Libya, or a Turkey) isn’t the problem. Allah is the problem. So until we’re ready to grab him by the beard and cut his balls off, we will just keep getting bombed. I could end this is six months. Tens of millions of Muslims would die. There wouldn’t be a Muslim family that wouldn’t lose multiple family members. Many families would be wiped out. Their “holy sites” would be rubble. I would be hated by half the planet...but those people wouldn’t be able to think about me without crapping their pants.

That’s what it is going to take, because for a thousand years we didn’t have the unity or guts to respond appropriately...and the metastatic cancer that has developed requires the worst sort of chemotherapy to cure.

The French wouldn’t let us fly over their airspace and a bomb “accidentally” came off the rail over downtown Tripoli and went through the front door of the French Embassy. It was the only building damaged in that area. Oops!

I remember that. I was very angry with the French govt for that pussy coward move. Our pilots flew from Britain and had to take a huge detour around France.

Those darn old F-111 Aardvarks with those "accidental" bomb releases!

Reading between the lines, the militias took potshots at the airport with four missiles and are now claiming “assassination attempts” by the US forces who returned fire at the cars containing the attackers.

To paraphrase Chris Rock, MLK and Malcolm X got assassinated. Them boys just got blowed the frick up.

Iran is governed by Hezbollah, or vice versa. All in the same. Prove me wrong.

“Iranian National” would be bad.

“Iranian Official” would be an act of war given they were participating in a terrorist attack against the US.
