I’m curious as to why progressives are virtue signaling the shite out of this?

I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with it, but I find these relationships are usually uncommon... yet are highly overrepresented in commercials and leftist media. Trying to figure out what the angle is here

It's been said before that the cultural engineers must feel sorry for black women.

They seem to be the least desirable, even black men prefer white women.

Understandable... very few black women are attractive... and it is only partially about physical appearance.

Just wait for them to start pushing the white man with black trans woman couple...it’s coming....If not already here.

“We MUST make the black trans population a priority....because they make up such a large and important part of our communities in these trying times”.....or something like that

I have to disagree with you there. Considering that most attractive white women rely on plastic parts, make-up, and forced vomiting, at least from a naturally attractive stand point I would say white women are unattractive.

And age horribly

How many mixed couples do you know? Any? They are far and few. Nothing wrong with it. Just shows how off base advertising is.

My experience from having friends that are aligned like this is that they got more grief from the black community than from white communities.

A lot of black men really get pissed about it.

Which just goes to show that everyone has their preferred looks, attitudes and overall culture. That is fine as long as it doesn't infringe on others, imho.

I am white, love the look of beautiful women regardless of color. There are only a few "races" that I have trouble finding pretty women in... Eskimo, Australian aborigines, pigmies..

I have a good friend at work who is a very successful black woman. Smart as can be and deserves everything she has.

She's fairly attractive and single. I was talking to her once and she kind of opened up about interracial relationships. She said that most black women just want to find a black man who has a good, steady job. They don't have to be doctors, lawyers, or Indian chiefs -- just a good job with health care and a 401K. And, she said that as a percentage, there just aren't a lot of black men that fit that simple role.

She said the thing that pisses off black woman more than ANYTHING is to see one of these guys with a white women. She said it seems like half of the successful black men out there are married to or dating white women. And she feels like there are white women out there that target these relatively few black men. She even mentioned the Kardashians. She said "don't even get me started on the athletes!"

She also told me that this is a BIG DEAL in the black community that isn't widely talked about outside the black community.

In light of what my friend has said, I've thought about all of these recent commercials. MAYBE the whole white guy/black woman virtue signaling in commercials is, IN PART, some sort of propaganda piece to get black women to be more accepting of these relationships??? Or, MAYBE, to make them believe that if they can't find a black man with a decent job, they can always find a white man who will want to date/marry them???

As the OP said, it's not like you see these relationships in real life -- at least not as much as is represented on TV. As with all social justice warrioring, there always has to be a reason to spread their lies and misrepresentations.

Ehh, black women don't really want their men or their sons dating outside of their race.

These commercials don't feel natural, so it's easy to tell they're trying to force something down our throats.

Way more of the reverse in the media narrative.

Most I know are white female, black male. I know a two that are the other way... one set is divorced so not a couple any longer.

When I was a youth, I was against interracial dating due to public pressure that I knew would be applied to the couple and make staying together harder. I never had a problem with people being with whomever they found compatibility and love. Now that times have changed a lot, societal pressures are not as bad, so move on?

There’s one other characteristic to those commercial pairings. The white male is ALWAYS a weak beta. It may be that it has as much with trying to devalue white alpha males as anything.

I have a friend from Arkansas who is a former “wrassler” who exclusively dates black women. He is an alpha conservative but he says the number one issue is acceptance among his girlfriends’ friends and families.

As a percentage, yes, the majority are. My comment regarding black women was primarily about attitude, mannerisms, and mentality. If you don't understand what I'm talking about, then you've never had any kind of business dealings with more than a handful of black women.

I've been really curious what the motive is in pushing this because I don't know a single white guy or black girl that are in a relationship. Even among celebrities or people I don't know I can only think of a handful. I'm sure this sounds bad but I think the hard truth is that black women, through the fault of some bad apples, have acquired a negative stereotype that has made them less desirable than other genders and races

A ton. There are at least 5 within a block of me. And that doesn't include my own marriage (which hits 10 years this summer ). Mixed couples/families are damn near boring at this point in my neck of the woods Two families are of the (gasp) WM/BW variety, too.

Of course not. But the instances are increasing. Rapidly.
