Wouldn’t that fall under the board of medical licensure or whatever y’all call it in La?

The Department of Health’s ordered that all non-emergency procedures cease, but apparently, they are defying the order.

And I hope you feel good about it.

I don't.

I was absolutely hoping and wishing that I was wrong.

Abraham supporters who voted for JBE or stayed at home are 100% the reason for his re-election.

Full disclosure here, I voted for Rispone in the runoff and prayed that Trump rallies were enough to push him over the top and that Abraham voters came to their senses.

But even then, I warned a few days before the runoff that Rispone was blowing it as the biggest warning sign of trouble was that he did not have Abraham stumping for him on the campaign trail outside of the Trump rallies.

And I'm saying that as someone who originally supported Rispone in the first place before the first round but he lost my support when he shite in his own hat and went negative against Abraham. Not because I was offended personally but the electoral consequences it would pose.

Voters are fickle creatures and you just cannot do anything to alienate them when you need them later for another round of voting and that's a hard lesson Rispone learned too late much to our detriment.

If you're an awkward and unknown first time candidate that has never been a political candidate and did not run a good campaign and did not market yourself well all year long like Rispone did, voters just simply don't have the patience to tolerate mistakes from you, especially against a formidable incumbent.

(unlike a lot of butt-hurt Abraham supporters

And they still had cold hard votes that Rispone needed and he made no worthwhile effort to get them.

He thought Trump rallies in the sticks were enough to push him over the top while ignoring big arse warning signs in St. Tammany and Jefferson Parish.

I've always thought that Trump rallies are a double edged sword. It may drive up enthusiasm and turnout for the GOP but it also does the same for democrats as well depending on the locale.

With that in mind, the GOP candidate has to keep as much of his base as much as he possibly can and Rispone failed to do that after he alienated Abraham voters.

And a takeaway for all the south LA Republicans: Dont frick over a redneck and then expect them to play ball. Wont happen.

You and I don't agree on much but this is correct here.

One of the things I really hated about the election last fall was that the Rispone vs Abraham fight was a proxy war and culture battle between North and South Louisiana and that was so disheartening and depressing to watch.

Baptists vs Catholics.

Rednecks vs Cajuns.

The redneck baptists got the last laugh.

Still a big deal in N LA man, probably not so much in S LA.

Well, repubs in South Louisiana sure as shite got the message after the runoff and I'm someone who warned them multiple times of that and they just called me a cuck like Abraham and other stupid shite like that.

Who's the cuck now?

A lot of people refused to be team players and they had no right to be outraged when they got the same kind of refusal in return.

I’m pro life, I’m anti abortion; however, JBE is not the DA in Caddo or EBR nor is he the police chief in either city. He can’t ride around the state arresting people, and if he could would you want the Governor arresting people? Isn’t that the job of the local authorities?

Of which law are you speaking? Rowe V Wade, or the law prohibiting all non essential medical procedures?
