Currently the only thing not cheaper at my grocery store is coffee and beef. The beef is due to the fact we have the lowest number of cattle since 1952 and that was started under Biden due to his policies.

Beef sure as hell isn't for starters. Milk is about 10-12% more than this time last year, canned vegetables are up about 20%. Eggs are about 3$ a dozen at the low end. Trump swore grocery prices would come down day 1 and I haven't seen it in my grocery bill.

This is a factor not of economic policy but of environmental policy. The catastrophic warming globalists have declared war on live stock ranching. These ESG policies took a long time to come to this fruition and undoing it will take a while.

The same is true for the automotive industry.

a rising stock market means that more inflation is coming.

I don't know about this. I'm of the opinion that with interest rate cuts on horizon as fed chief seems to imply, money on the sidelines in interest bearing accounts are coming back into the market. People reallocating investments.
Personally, my investments will more than adequately cover any potential inflation uptick.
OTOH, I'm a retired Boomer and everything is paid for. I only care about fricking over the younger generations and taking everything with me ro the grave.

Typical MAGA deflection.

You people are ridiculously predictable.

Trump 2.0 seems to be more about ignoring his "political oppoents" and pushing forward than anything.

He's done a much better job to this point. I'll give him that.

If he could block out the noise completely it would benefit him.

Maybe so, but I think there is a certain recognition that a lot of the noise at this time is hurting the noisemakers more than anthing else, such that there's no need right now to not let them make the noise, or in some instances to help highlighting it (versus COMPLETELY ignoring it).

About the same, but the size of products has shrunk.

Shrinkflation is setting in.

Beef is expensive, but it has been for a while. My beef prices are not increasing. In fact, Rouses is running whole prime tenderloin for $15/lb. this week.

Correctly identifying a useful idiot who gleefully parrots 4AM talking points sent to embedded intel assets' SecureDrop accounts to establish the day's narrative screed is hardly deflection.

You vomit back up whatever BS fake news you gleefully slurp down at the start of your day.
