Like you’re practicing restraint from doing such on this board.

The mainstream media is panicking because they have lost control of the narrative.

They are going to begin cracking down hard on anyone who challenges their viewpoitns.

They are starting with easy targets like Jones.

It won't be long before they come after others.

You soon won't be able to have a Christian youtube channel because it will be "hate speech"

They are going after global warming skeptics next apparently.

All these companies are doing is creating a situation where a competitor can come in and take 10 to 20% of their business (not AAPL, but FB and youtube for sure).

How is it that exercising the 1A right to not associate = censorship?

Just a reminder, free speech arguments ARE applicable here if you believe that Google/Youtube/Twitter/Facebook have monopoly powers.

Private businesses can discriminate but not if they are abusing monopoly power (which Google clearly is)

It's censorship on their platform.

FB and YT have every right to do so, per their 1A rights.

I'd agree with policy, possibly, but they certainly aren't being consistent.

The best thing about this thread is that BamaROFL, olddawg and sanctions would be apoplectic if their fake news sites were getting banned from these platforms.

They have so few wins that this is what they are resorting to. Trolling about infowars. What a sad pitiful crew.

I despise politics, and if forced would describe my political leanings as simple as “leave me alone”. I believe in personal freedom, free markets, and all that entails, as long as it doesn’t infringe on others. However, one thing that troubles me is the ability of private companies, purveyor’s of information...Google, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, etc.. to so easily silence, blackball, or severely cripple information & ideas to be disseminated. It’s frightening the amount of power & control they have.

Somebody should get right on that. Then we won't have any more of these crybaby threads about private ventures making their own rules.

Conservatives championed corporatism for decades, now you’re seeing the downside of it. Delicious irony.

Agree with you on principal, but there is nothing wrong with calling out those that are not consistent, although consistency should not be mandated.

The baker is also serving the public

Come on...The baker isn't one of a few bake shops where you can get a cake. Being banned from two of the biggest platforms to share information is like being banned from 95% of all bake shops. It's not a fair comparison.
