I've nearly wrecked trying to change the radio station when this ad comes on.
quote:

California is pulling the plug on the wildly recognizable Kars4Kids jingle after a judge ruled the charity’s ads misled donors about who actually benefits from their money.

Orange County Superior Court Judge Gassia Apkarian found that the organization violated California false advertising and unfair competition laws by failing to disclose that donations primarily fund Orthodox Jewish programs tied to Oorah Inc., a New York- and New Jersey-based outreach organization.

Man, I never thought I’d be happy about something like this but those commercials “on air” are the absolute worst.

I’d be even happier if the pharmacy ads and ambulance chasing lawyer ads were eliminated (or at least scaled way back)

I’ve read (but have not verified) that the money made by Kars-for-Kids goes to sending New York area Jewish kids to Jewish summer camp in upstate New York.

I doubt seriously you’d have many people knowingly donating to a charity with that as it’s “purpose."
