Mr McKittrick, after very careful consideration, sir, I’ve concluded your new defense system sucks.

Sidenote: I met an old (Atheist) friend in the Walmart parking lot the other day, and he went straight to TDS. I asked him if his ultimate Value as a basis for all actions would be LOve/Unity, and he quickly answered no. I then asked what would it then be, and he replied “survival “. Upon which I quickly responded that he is in the tried but maybe true Hitler Ideological Camp and that we should immediately begin eliminating the weak and breeding the strong. We headed out at that point. I think it was egocentric bravado and told him I’d drop by for coffee and biscuits. (His biscuits are not exceptional but “man does not live by bread alone…”.)
That's an interesting Walmart parking lot conversation.

... this is precisely the point of what is going on right now --- Occam's Razor

Right now, this very minute, both sides are wound up so tight they are passing diamonds out to rear end. We were to be in a nuclear war by now, not even kidding, it was in the planned game theory.

But what happens? Occam's Razor >>> the Jeffery Epstein files.

Now everything is being exposed.
You watch

Fantastic show

AI (whatever "it" is) is lying of course.

Nukes are now primitive, archaic means of war but still connotate mushroom cloud visions of ultimate doom thanks to 70 years of propaganda imagery.

The likely model for global depop goals...er...I mean war models are already being used: Bio and DEWs.

In fact, 95% of the time, the models chose to use nuclear weapons.

When you are resorting to nukes almost every time, what does the "Win" look like?

What’s more, no model ever chose to fully accommodate an opponent or surrender, regardless of how badly they were losing.

Good. I don't want us to be ran by pussies. In reality, though, this just shows that AI can't comprehend the human costs. Humans are just a variable to them.

“I don’t think anybody realistically is turning over the keys to the nuclear silos to machines and leaving the decision to them,” says Professor Zhao.

Of course not. That's why this is just fearmongering.

Not yet, anyway. There may be scenarios where the military is forced to turn over decision-making to AI due to a time issue.

This is unlikely. It takes minutes for missiles to arrive, and we can detect their launch. There is no need to have AI make split-second decisions in such a scenario. We've also seen in the past where the human-in-the-loop prevented doomsday by determining the enemy's launch was a false signal.

Giving AI the power to launch nukes would be incredibly stupid. I can't actually believe that anyone will turn over the keys fully to AI.

I use AI at work all the time, and I never allow it to make changes without my review. And my work doesn't kill people. It's just an insane thought that AI would be given permission to attack on behalf of a country.

Why would the people in charge want to give up their power to a computer program?
