Are you part of the local Tiger alumni group? Might seek them out to watch the game Saturday, though I heard they’ve moved and it’s no longer the place where the older Asian lady would spank you.

You have brand new luxury high rises(like I live in) and then as soon as you step on the sidewalk outside its nothing but tents, garbage, litter, sleeping bags, drug addicts, and homeless people as far as the eye can see.
Crosswalks? What are those? It's a jaywalking heaven. I refuse to brake for homeless people unless they are crossing at a crosswalk.
Doesn't help that you have a Father Joe's soup kitchen right across the street from my building. The homeless line up all the way down the block to get in.

If so go to BottleCraft in Little Italy. Best beer collection I’ve ever seen and stuff you can’t get on the east coast like Pliny the Elder and others. If you can’t walk take a car or one of those annoying arse scooters parked every 6-8 inches
Also Ballast Point and Mikkeller breweries are on the same street.
If you don’t like beer check out the USS Midway Aircraft carrier .9 miles from the hotel. About 100 yards from there is the Carnitas Snack shack with awesome pork sliders.
After that, sack up and learn to like beer and go to little Italy like I mentioned previously.
Sucks you missed fleet week by a few days. Was awesome.
Have a good time. Aside from the ever growing homeless population every few steps and shite on the sidewalks it’s an AWESOME city.
