I realize that our Obergruppenfuhrer Bannon got some things wrong (giving Michael Wolfe access for those awful books, incorrectly predicting that MAGA was "dead"), etc.

But the dude is unquestionably the intellectual leader of right-leaning population over the Western world and it's fairly easy to see that he's bending over backwards to try and make amends with Trump. He goes out of his way to downplay his role in 2016 and to give DJT every ounce of credit in all of these forums I'm linking. He never used to do that if you see interviews of him from 2016 and 2017.

Must Watch: Frontline Interview w/ Bannon (2.5 hours long - will fly by)

Steve Bannon on Bill Maher 10 days ago

Steve Bannon v's David Frum on the rise of Populism (great debate)

I'd love to have him back in Trump's war room both leading up to 2020 and to launch Trump's second "first 100 days in office".

He will hopefully have an outsized role in helping pick Trump's heir apparent over the next 3 years.

Bannon is right where he needs to be.

Redpilling like a mfer without the constraints of an "official" position.

I agree 100% but with so many globalists / swamp rats being expelled from Trump administration over the past 18 months, there is a HUGE power vacuum that Steve would perfectly slide right into. Dude is a genius has some great ideas that would help Trump win reelection and compete against Bernie's left wing version of populism.

Bannon was wrongly booted. It should’ve Preibus from the beginning.

I still remember Bannons white board of Trumos promises on the campaign trail.

I still remember he was the ONLY person in the war room telling trump not to bomb Assad’s air base after the “gas attack”.

Bannon told Trump that if the 2017 tax cuts passed in their Paul Ryan iteration that left wing populism would rise bigly.

You have no idea what issues Bannon even stands for. Can you even list any of them?

He’s just the boogie man to the left. He and Stephen Miller are called fricking white supremacist just because they call for strong stances on ILLEGAL immigration. What a novel concept someone standing up to the law that’s in place.

I think Trump should bring him back in for the election alone.

When the Billy Bush tapes broke right before the debate, it was Bannon that got all of Bill's bimbos together for a news conference and punked the press into theinking Trump was going to apologize.

He has some baggage, but would kick some arse!

Yah Steve goes into that story in depth towards the middle / end of the 2.5 hour Frontline interview. Was amazing story about getting Paula Jones and the others to that 2nd debate and finally telling Trump who LOVED it

No. Bannon is doing good work where he is, as a private citizen without the leash or scrutiny that being an official office holder places on you.

He leaked against trump to the press to undermine him and aggrandize himself. He lost us one of the safest most reliable senate seats in the country. He is a desperate, ruined, incompetent, and disloyal drunk and no one should burn the candle for him.

You're assuming he's not in Trump's inner circle; just bc he doesn't work in the WH any longer doesn't mean he's not in his inner circle

He is not in trumps inner circle for one reason, disloyalty.

He was given a job in the WH by the President, who then trusted him and let him participate in confidential conversations and activities. How did Bannon repay the President for his generosity and trust? By betraying him to his enemies. He abused his position of trust and access to the inner circle to provide the President's worst enemies in the press with ammunition in the form of salacious gossip and information on sensitive matters. He helped the press peddle the story that the President was an idiot, a mere media-genic personality furthering the aims of the real brains behind the throne, Steve Bannon. That is utterly despicable and evidence of a completely bankrupt character.
