I don't know how to explain it easier... your Grandpa is most likely dead whether there is a bed or not... the hospital isn't helping nor the vents... which is why there is a 95% death rate once you are vented with this.
The Key is Grandpa can never see the hospital... which mean isolation.
There really is no other choice, all the rest of this is... is a waste of time by the orange man.
