OP is probably one of those "if you're not in the office, you're not working" types.

You're no doubt one of those, "I get just as much done in between reading the paper, going to the gym, watching a few YouTube videos, walking my dog, cooking and eating my lunch, and running a few errands as I would if I were stuck in an office all day. Just think of all the time I save not having to get dressed since I spend all day in my pajamas."

It's like trying to get a pot addict to admit that no, you are NOT a better driver when you are stoned "because you are so much more careful."

Shreveport is a shitehole, shitehead. And before you bitch and moan I've had family there over 60 years and a few still left.
I remember when it was a nice midsized town. It is not that anymore.

Because they are pulling a 8 hour day with 2 companies when the company doesn't know they have 2 WFH jobs. So technically they are doing 4 hour shifts for the company and getting paid for 8. Not to mention running to the grocery store and picking up kids while on the clock. I would be in favor of the corporations suing these individuals for fraud

Why hasn't that person been fired if he isn't doing his job? It sounds like that person found two poorly managed companies. I don't see why it's the government's responsibility to tell private companies how their employees must work.

Let's be honest. This is just jealousy. I get paid to do a job. If someone else gets paid more to do less, then good for him. My only concern is my pay and my work, especially when the other person doesn't even work at my company.

My friend gets better benefits than I do. Should the government force my company to make their benefits the same as my friend's? If not, why is WFH the only benefit that must be equal by force of the government?

All I know is ever since Covid, the golf course is jammed all week, all day.

It used to be retirees and women most weekdays, working guys maybe on Wednesday afternoon and weekends.

Now it is packed all the time.

I know multiple people who have 2 WFH jobs that run groceries and go to the gym on the clock. It's the biggest scam in Human History and should be made illegal.

WFH is a tool that can help businesses. My company is small but we are highly rated, because we are able to find top talent from across the world. Without this ability, my company and millions of other small businesses would be unable to compete with larger companies. A lot of people don't want to move states or countries, and small companies can't afford relocation expenses, so WFH is a benefit they can use to attract qualified workers.

Not everyone cares about making as much money as possible. Some people will take lower salaries for the more relaxed work environment with increased freedom. This plus not having to pay for facilities helps smaller businesses save money and reinvest in growth.

If you shut down WFH, then you are hurting small businesses while consolidating even more wealth and power with large corporations. Forcing everyone to work on a time clock just seems un-American, too.
