Yea its pretty pathetic.
There was an article on FOX with Jamie Raskin and Raskin's response to the question of toning it down was "What rhetoric should we use? We attack the policies but don't make it personal".
I mean I couldnt do anything but laugh.

For the movers/shakers, this is mostly true but there's a shite ton of rank/file Dems that are true believers: Trump is literal Hitler, a threat to our democracy, a pedo that wants to deport every black and brown person and kill all the gays/trannies.
