People on this board need to start getting it in their heads that he is not going to get reelected. He has sat on his arse the last month and a half as America has burned constantly blaming Democrats when he more than has the authority to stop some of this shite. Yea its fun watching these liberal infested cities burn but when common people start losing their jobs, getting assaulted, and get deplatformed for having wrong views, its makes you wonder what the frick he is doing. He can send all the stupid arse tweets he wants but that is good for nothing and has no legal authority. Im going to vote for him again but its not because I think he is some stable leader or genius, its because he is still the human hand grenade to blow up this rotten system from within.

Ill vote for him but not a single other Republican and why should I? They have conserved nothing and have rolled over at every possible moment to the leftists mobs because they are afraid of being called racist. Let me let you all in on a little secret, black people already hate us and pandering to these terrorists does no good but simply alienating the people (us) who put them in power in the first place.

By the time November arrives, if Trump still appears to be on defense constantly responding to the media's outrage of the day, he will lose. His supporters want a leader not a follower. It's like he sees this when he's out campaigning, yet when back in DC, he does very little. If he doesn't think the country will elect a dementia patient just for some false idea of stability, he hasn't been paying attention. I wouldn't be surprised if Republicans voted for Biden just to make the rioters calm down. They stomp and we give in. The country continues to die.

I agree.

The side that it keeping him from moving forward on the actions outlined in the OP are Barr, McConnell, Pelosi and likely more than half of the White House counsel.

We know Trump's instincts are to apply the law equally and eliminate this judicial double standard we see everyday. But the forces against him are institutionally aligned and he can only do so much.

I think one of the things that is happening here is politically he is getting most of his advice from Steve Miller, which I love. However that common man nationalist political advice from Miller does not match the legal advice coming from Javanka's cohorts. In other words, the rhetoric that emanates from Miller's advice get's us Trump supporters all pumped and sets expectations high however the legal actions by Barr and congress don't meet those exceptions and we are disappointed.

With that said, we need to keep pushing forward despite disappointments. The alternative is grave.

Of course, his inaction is also explained by the fact that right wing media is lying about all of these vague “crimes” that democrats are always committing. Maybe democrats aren’t criminals. Maybe Trump has nothing to actually charge them with. Maybe you are being bombarded with sketchy right wing brainwashing.

That is a much more likely explanation than “Soros controls everything.”

TRUMP is going to lose. He has no path to victory. Internalize it and plan accordingly.

He needs to have an Oval Office speech. The script unshared with anyone prior. The speech needs to be an explanation to the American people of all of the subversive shite that is happening from the Russia hoax, to Covid, and to the anarchy that is taking place in the streets today. What is it? Who is behind it? What are their goals? How long has the plan for turning America Marxist been in place? Explain globalism and explain how marxists have slow rolled infiltrated our 3 main cultural institutions ( academia, media, and entertainment) and how they are being used to make America a marxist country. Explain that one of the goals is to eliminate a middle class. The system they want only allows for a ruling class and a lower class.

The normal people need to be awakened to the war that they do not even comprehend that they are in. He can’t do this with tweets alone. At some point, it would serve us all well if he gave a very eloquent and serious speech without a crowd in front of him. A one on one with the American people.

I believe that he is an intelligent and calculated person but I don’t know if he understands the value and effect that a “lay it all out there” serious speech would have. I am afraid that he thinks that tweeting and being brash in rally speeches is enough. It worked in 2016. But people still don’t understand who and what we are up against. Many still whistling by the graveyard thinking it will all simmer down at some point. The enemy is as emboldened as it has ever been. He needs to get serious and tell the people whose eyes are still not open what is at stake...in a serious an well delivered manner.

He has allowed the marxists to expose themselves, he can/will lead the narrative when the time is right.

Allowing as much violence and anarchy as possible will generate a backlash as in the elections of 1968 and 1972 that will insure the reelection of the President. Who are you going to get to point out this "obvious truth"? The media is bought and paid for by the Democrats. They will provide cover for any number of blatant lies that can be used

exactly why 90% of you people shouldn't be voting. You're clueless. You admit it but dont even realize what you're admitting to.

His hands are somewhat tied until the election. If he sends in any kind of force to stop these people every one of them that so much as gets a hang nail will be seen as a hero to the media and video of every protester who gets dinged will be shown 24/7 until the election. This will drive the white suburban women vote away from Trump. They are going to look at the protesters as if they were their children. In order for any action he takes to be effective it must both solve the actual problem and look good on video while it does. If he loses the image and optics war he could lose the election. Short of these kooks trampling a bunch of grandmothers to death or knocking a bunch of special needs kids down a flight of stairs in their wheelchairs I'm not sure how he wins the P.R. aspect of this.

The one thing that could change this would be if these idiots actually do go after Jesus statues. They would be overplaying their hand then and would lose the support of a lot of African-Americans and suburban mothers which would actually make them vulnerable to criticism.

The executive branch is being held back by the executive branch.
Either they are following Trump's directives or they are not. Been that way since the beginning.

If they were not, I would expect the boss to be making a lot more noise about the bad actors in the Executive and the Senate.

If they are on the same team, then the counter appears to be timed to begin early July. Example - Recent SDNY firings and the pressure to drop the Flynn case (new Strzok evidence).

The question is "Why is Flynn so important?"
