I’m sticking with my prediction that congress dems won’t actually vote on impeachment

Because they (dems) would no longer control the narrative if it were to go to the senate.
Instead, they will try to balance appeasing their far left constituents while keeping the “investigation” at a rolling boil.
They may hold an official impeachment vote around Sept/Oct of 2020 just as a hail Mary to inflict damage to Trump’s re-election.
The dems want to control the narrative at all cost.

I'm not as versed in all the goings on as some in here, but I've always thought they won't vote for two reasons:
1) The subpeana power that Trump gets if Nancy goes through w/ this vote.
2) If they were going to impeach, why didn't they do it when they were "convinced" of the ELEVEN supposed instances of obstruction of justice in the Mueller report? Hell, Clinton got impeached in the House for lying about a single BJ.
They don't have shite and they know it. But, Lefties are emotional wrecks who need outrage in order to turn out to vote.

There are two votes, one is to officially introduce formal articles of impeachment the other is the vote on actually impeaching the president

This was my point in a thread a started a couple days ago.
I can't see how the Dems vote to impeach, because then they lose the narrative. And they can't do that because they have nothing.
If this thing went to the Senate and they actually had power to call witnesses and all questions, I suppose this thing would look far worse than their Russian hoax thing did.
So I kinda think they draw this thing out as long as they can and then say well it's so close to an election we should just let the election take care of things.

This whole thing is one long campaign ad for the 2020 election.
It’s despicable. Even for Democrats

If they vote to impeach they will lose the house. They may lose it anyway.

I think they vote just to say they “impeached the President”. That’s a huge victory for them.
They will then say they did their part and the Senate Republicans are partisan and ignored crimes to defend the president.
At this point, not voting is effectively exonerating Trump. They have come too far . They won’t let that happen.

Personally I think they are so eaten up with TDS they want to mar Trump with the term "Impeached" and they give no fricks about any consequences.

There will be a vote and Trump will be the 3rd president impeached then acquitted in the Senate. Raucous 2020 election.

I've said this for months
They don't want to impeach. They want to run this until November 2020 to see if it helps them win.
Nothing more
It's possible that what they do is run it until late October. Then vote to impeach which gives the Senate no time to act
