I played a round of golf yesterday at a country club where there are maybe a dozen homes under construction. Normally on a Saturday, there are plenty of people working. Nail guns, Hispanic music, yelling, tossing boards, etc.
There were two guys working on one house. Zero activity on the rest. Anecdotal, I know, but it makes me think these illegals are staying home. I enjoyed the quiet.
