Is that what happened in this case? I'm not sure why it matters. This woman would not have been murdered by this man if her county was not a sanctuary for illegals. There is no way around that.

Kind of hard to murder someone in America if you're not here Your analogy would only work had whatever the Canadian equivalent of ICE is had said you needed to leave 9 times but the local province was a sanctuary that refused to kick you out and then you murdered a woman. In that case, yeah it's on the local Canadian government

A person sneaking in from Mexico and killing a person is one thing. When a recidivist criminal alien has commit felony after felony and nine detainers have been placed on him, yet none of them are honored by local administrators, that directly contravenes what government is supposed to do- protect the citizens of this country.
Government- local and federal- has every obligation to ensure criminal aliens with significant convictions face immigration consequences for their actions.
I sincerely hope an illegal alien with nine prior arrests rapes your wife and mother. I wonder what your opinion would be then.
In an era where a burglar can sue the homeowner if he injures himself while breaking into YOUR house, the fact that a local government cannot be sued for their liability in cases like this is incomprehensible.
