So your case is made by 1 of 50 states, or 2%. Which is 26-27% Black by census.

Solid Case.

Convinced me.

I gave you an upvote because the preponderance of your post was spot on.

I am replying to that small portion where you try to justify the thinking behind this awful 'cure' to a practically non-existent problem.

First there is no universal good policy - there is no construct that humans can articulate where someone, somewhere, is not genuinely disadvantaged by the strict application of that policy. What we perhaps need is a 'redress board' where that minuscule number of people can go to have their status reviewed wrt the strict application of that good policy.

AND - instead of spending 100's of millions of $$$$ fighting the generally great policy, those so upset about it could spend a couple of 1000 dollars going out to find these half dozen people disadvantaged and either bringing them into compliance with the policy.

For instance, there are indeed 100's of millions of dollars being spent right now fighting to invalidate this obviously great policy. Add to that the billions of dollars worth of free broadcast air time where the 'news media' spread the idiocy - and the actions of the high-tech wannabe oligarchs who take it upon themselves to silence - or punish - anyone who tried to speak the undeniable truths you yourself outlined in your post.

The "problem" simply DOES NOT EXIST - and any concerted effort to marginalize that absolute axiom is indeed siding with the purposefully evil 'interpretation' that produces all these phantom 'victims.'

I simply feel no need to rely upon ridiculous, hyperbolic arguments.

but you are giving cover for the ridiculous, hyperbolic arguments when you mention the half dozen or so actual 'victims' of a universally good policy that is being taken down by the knowingly evil proponents of election fraud.

Isn't using the word/label "Cracker" racist?
Personally, I believe ALL citizens of any nation should have to produce ID to vote, whether it is a passport or birth certificate.
This would provide strong wall against fraud: dead people voting, illegal aliens voting, non-registered voters, perhaps multiple votes.
Voting machines should be sent to Indonesia for recycling while ALL Western nations should have to vote in person and with pencil and paper....
Also, I do suspect that there is value in the argument/statement with regard to anyone with a criminal record or outstanding warrants having to get an ID to vote - felons shouldn't vote anyway - would make voting problematic....

I find that people who care most about race are in fact racist.

Well, that's just one piece of evidence. Alabama isn't the only state that employs a lot of people.

I tend to, in some way, agree, however most that use the term, or label, 'racism' or 'racist' have never delved into researching the subject themselves.
"Racism", more accurately put is "Racialism" has been utterly distorted for purely, highly questionable: Socialist/Communist agenda driven reasons.

This entire subject started by the study of the races and their differences. In the 19th century, there were numerous academics, researchers, doctors and such which were concerned with studying the various races from numerous perspectives and compiling the data. The most glaring comparison were between the "White" and "Black" races to understand how an entire continent - Africa - really didn't evolve from hunter gatherer tribal culture with the highly advanced European Civilizations. If I'm not mistaken, Egyptians have been in contact with the black African since around 3000BC with documented (monuments) produced some 1600BC yet there are no two story homes, floating ships, written languages etc. found within Black Africa.
This is how "Racialism" came about. Researching the races and their differences; which was the dictionary definition of "Racialism" since its inception to about the mid 1970s.
Associated to this definition was the reference to "Racism" which, then as coined/practiced, was the belief that one's race - your race - is superior to another's, refer Racialism.
No hate whatsoever within either. In fact, this entire subject had nothing to do with hate but researching differences between races trying to answer why/how the various races progressed/advanced differently from numerous perspectives/criterion.
Early Socialists/Communists entered into the Academic field intertwining their egalitarian/amoral/atheistic beliefs into this field when they absorbed Anthropology into the "Social" Sciences or Sociology...
I've read many books on this crap. I think one of the best was written by Harvard's Veritas group named Archie Roosevelt and Zygmund Dobbs and it is called "The Great Deceit; Social pseudo-Sciences" which documents the Socialist/Communist agenda/politics entering into, formation and perversion of Academia/Education for political goals.
Which we are all paying for today...

For sure. But, according to the left, only poor black people are a different, inferior sub-species of human, incapable of getting an ID.

Even poor white people are smart enough to get an ID and vote, according to Democrats. Well educated blacks are also apparently too dumb to get an ID, since ID laws are "racist".

In most cases, it is not that black people do not want to get an ID, but they find it hard to convince authorities to provide them with one, especially when those authorities are affiliated to a party that blacks do not typically vote for.

It is all about voter suppression.

Recognizing that implies that someone has the metal capacity to abstract one human owning another. Apparently, according to liberals, blacks are incapable of even getting a rid to the DMV, or affording the $10 on average it costs to get an ID.
