Maybe you can say that for the first stimulus but not the second.

I can say that about the second.

I believe Florida/Georgia/Texas were not in lockdown and opened back up for business around June/July 2020.

Not all businesses were open. Sorry, he followed a 3 step plan and took money throughout 2020 and in 2021.

In fact, he went against Rick Scott on it.

The second stimulus package was not needed. It was helicopter money. Trump led the way in getting it passed.

Then why did Ron take the money?

Are you a fool?

Because the taxpayers of his state were funding it with their federal tax dollars.

This is his tactic. Once Trump is criticized he'll try to put you on the defensive regarding DeSantis. Just keep him on subject and he'll give up.

Veto proof bills aren't a thing.
Trump signed all spending bills passed during his term
Trump printed enough money to start us on the road to high inflation.

It's all true so he just tries to reeee you into a DeSantis argument.

I don't like Medicare but I'm making sure my mother gets every fricking dime that is available to her.

Stupid not to. Just like it would be ignorant for a governor to not take money offered that his constituents have put money towards via their taxes.

JJObama trying to say a governor is bad for taking money from the feds. Money that was distributed over the signature of his God Emperor.

No no. You just stated "You can say that about the first round but not the second".

So he GLADLY took the money after HE shut down his state. In fact He argued for MORE money.

DeSantis this past month has repeatedly complained that Florida wasn’t getting its fair share in the rescue package

And remember Massie stated:

"If it were just about helping people to get more unemployment (benefits) to get through this calamity that, frankly, the governors have wrought on the people, then I could be for it,"

Can't have it both ways... It's you guys wanting to play the Covid game!

So let's play

No, I'm saying Trump had no Constitutional authority to spend one red dime

President Donald Trump sent his annual budget vision to Congress on Monday, starting a new battle over how to fund the government that sets up the nation for an even more destructive shutdown when money runs out later this year.

Calling for a total of $2.7 trillion in reductions over 10 years, the Trump administration is also taking aim at safety net programs, including hundreds of billions in cuts to Medicare and a request to drum up savings by imposing new restrictions on food stamps, housing assistance and aid to families whose household earnings aren‘t enough to provide for their children.

Sir I will give you the executive orders if needed.

I will also show you that due to the executive orders that allowed cities and counties the control that people were arrested. That people had their licensees suspended.

Aan I am about to post the footage of DeSantis stating on TV that they are not playing games that any business that breaks the covid rules will have their businesses suspended.

Shall we keep playing the covid game?

I am on the subject. The subject is Covid and the nations reactions.

What Joe wants to do is narrow everything down to just Trump.

Guess what Joey, Trump did not shut down a single state because he lacked constitutional authority.

He was a free spending President the entire time. Don't get confused.

Then spent way more money than we had on his way out the door. So he printed us into high inflation.

I have never stated such a thing. I have already had this conversation with David and others. In Fact, I'm pretty clear in this thread.

BUT if you guys are going to play the COVID game... then we can play it.
