Exactly. Its just another weapon in fight against the spread but the state shouldn't be mandating
the public wear them.If the private sector wants to do it fine.

Japan is now at 518 deaths in a country of 128 million and rates of new cases and deaths are all going way down.

It would be silly to think that their culture of almost everyone wearing masks in public didn't help.

Sounds like your problem, not the general public’s problem.

Man some of y'all are dense but I know this is the poli board. I'll put it this way..

Wearing masks will help keep lockdowns from happening. I swear only in America can something so easy and effective as wearing a mask get politicized.

Unbelievable this has become a political statement.

Very little chance of helping and it could actually increase the rate of transmission depending on how people are using or not using them correctly.

Most of the masks and gloves the way people use them are more like germ spreaders.

But even if it did help what is the purpose? The whole flatten the curve was bullshite.

No it won't... the whole flattening the yield curve was bullshite. Exactly what was accomplished by the lock downs?

This whole farce is unbelievable, none of this was science.

Sweden didn't do much of anything and their curve is basically the same as everyone else's. The masks don't really help in this situation which is why most of the people working at our local hospital stopped wearing them over a month ago.

The silly masks and gloves are actually germ spreaders the way people use them.

Even if everyone was in full quarantine, and this is not a quarantine... meaning nobody in and nobody out.. the virus would still spread according to the CDC information I have seen.

All that is happening now is people's immune system is now getting weaker. (see last 5 minutes of War of the Worlds)

This isn't really true. In particular if you compare them to their neighbors.

If it doesn't help, why has the White House just instituted this policy?
