The reason he isn't the nominee is because he isn't Trump and a large contingent of Republicans are now only Trumpers. The bad news is that doesn't represent a majority of Americans. The good news is for the time being the democrat nominee is a joke.

You need go back to 3rd grade for reading comprehension help. There was no 180. The Democratic Party gave the nomination to Obama not the republicans. The republicans vote did not vote in Obama. There’s no we. Indians and African Americans are held to completely different standards. Core conservatives won’t let a Ramaswamy be the nomination let alone vote for him to be president.
