It’s a silly OP, sure, but you guys are frothing at the mouth tripping over your (natural, God-given, girthy) dicks without thinking of what precedent this sets.
There’s a nearly 30 page thread on this that is very clear: they don’t care what precedent this sets bc they can’t see past their own noses.

Where in the constitution does it say the rights of the mentally ill cannot be infringed?
i think the term you would be familiar with is "non compos mentis".
does someone who is legally declared non compos mentis enjoy the same rights you and I do?

The DSMV is a very thick book with a lot of mental illnesses. Who gets to decide which ones mean no guns versus which ones don’t?
You’ve obviously never filled out paperwork to purchase a firearm. Stay in your lane

Rounding up people not ok.
Rounding up people not ok.

of course I do. but I'm using the extreme to make a point.

explain. how is declaring a tranny mentally disturbed a violation of the constitution?
Calling people names is not a problem.
Taking their liberty is a problem.
Next not believing in global warming or believing in a creator will be grounds for the left to do the same

So you obviously don't approve of what ICE is doing then.
Do you believe trans people are mentally stable?

I have. It asks two questions related to mental illness:
1) Have you ever been adjudicated (italics added for emphasis) a mental defect
or
2) Have you ever been committed to a mental institution
There is no “hey are you a tranny?” question

The Constitution is a restriction on government action against the backdrop of God-given, natural rights.
Surely you and Tim Kaine understand that.
So the question then becomes where does the Constitution say the Executive CAN unilaterally restrict your non compos mentis people?
They enjoy the given rights of our Creator unless our social contract allows them to be restricted. Give me a cite for that, and certainly one that abrogates “shall not be infringed” in 2A.

Due process.
Look up the word “adjudicated”

I sure do. I don't think you understand. Let's replace the disease name from body dysmorphia to schizophrenia.
Can some with schizophrenia legally purchase a weapon?

Dang, bro. You may be an actual retard.
I’ll still represent you if AOC tries to take your guns, though.
She’ll certainly “declare” you to be a mongrel couch fricker danger to society, but let’s hope Jake and I can convince the Article III judge that you’re not.

By the clear terms of 2A… YES!
Now if we want to parse and pontificate about meaning and measure of back then versus now then we’re really just getting to a super-legislature of black robes.

No.
Now, who gets to do the "declaring?"

Presumptively, yes.
Unless they have been adjudicated a mental defect or been committed to a mental institution.
Can someone with ADHD legally purchase a weapon?

Yes. A potential prohibition is not based on the diagnosis of schizophrenia itself.

let's start again.
do people that have been found, declared, adjudicated, (pick your verb) mentally insane share the same rights you and I do?
