Who the fck "agonizes" over a decision like this? The fact that some actually do is all part of what's wrong with this country.

Isn't white kids idolizing black role models a good thing?
Or better yet, we don't concern ourselves with who is idolizing who? Watch this clip and ask yourselves if people are uncomfortable with a black man saying a white guy is his favorite basketball player. The response is, "O Wow" as if someone would ever say that if he said LeBron was his favorite player.

It's the soft bigotry of low expectations. As if black people are so simple minded that they can only look up to other black people. If you start down this road of intersectionality, you don't get very far before you end up with stupid ideas and even worse taboos.

Related to the movie... The Dems are putting up voter registration booths at the theaters showing the movie. How did I not see that coming?

The character of Black Panther and all of Wakanda was created by two white people. So technically it's a white cultural thing.

So a fictional character created by 2 white men would be considered cultural appropriation if a white kid wears a mask of this character? It is beyond stupid at this point how people have to worry about offending others over stupid things.

“O, wow” jk.
I wonder if it’s ok if their kids dress up like the black panther? We should ask first.

My kid put on a black morph suit with a black panther mask. He isn't even a big fan or a comic book guy but he had fun with it.
And whoever has a problem with it can eat a dick.
You can't say you need more minorities in movies, then get pissed at people when they embrace a movie with main characters that are minorities.
