It seems that the Parkland children are aiming to end the NRA. What next?

Point and laugh at them. The NRA is not going anywhere.

It would be reactive, not proactive. Hence resistance. Now, maybe I'm making some absurd assumptions, but I imagine that the legal abolition of the NRA would be coupled with legislative attempts to confiscate firearms. I think this is an improbable scenario, mind you, but I'm just telling you that it wouldn't go over easily by any measure.

I understand that but I just have a hard time believing that anybody that wants to stay out of jail or alive is going to shoot at people who try to take their guns. It's absurd

At some point or another, a man values ideals and freedoms more than he does his own life. I pray, as you should, that such decisions will not have to be made in our life.

The NRA is the oldest civil rights organization in America.

It won't be abolished any more than the ACLU or NAACP.

It is hard to believe but it will happen. I would predict that law enforcement would not go along with it.

I wouldnt. I'm sure there are plenty of people in law enforcement that would feel a lot more secure knowing that they're the only one with guns

You'll get to watch it live on CNN. We'd become Syria in a very short time.
