How would they do that if the players are in the locker room?

In A&M's case, the Anthem is typically played at least 30 minutes before kickoff.

Anthem or not, players will take a knee or some other act before kickoff.

The media will film you, dox you, and get you fired.

So your plan to protest the players protesting the flag is to turn your back on the flag. Wouldn't that be worse?

If they do it during the Spirit of Aggieland, the majority of the stadium will walk out. At that point, you're protesting your own classmates and crowd.

The next day, it would be announced that Jimbo Fisher would be fired for cause for allowing it to happen and the University would sue to ensure they owed him nothing.

Sure thing. Nothing wrong with that if you feel strongly about it.

Fisher would be fired for cause if that happened and Sharp, vindictive as he is, would use every legal means at his disposal to ensure his entire contract is void and he gets nothing.

There will be an incident somewhere that will result in players boycotting. It seems like a lock right now

I attended my last NFL game 2 years ago when Kaep started all that shite. Haven’t been to one since. I may jump on the band wagon if Saints make the playoffs but that’s about it for nostalgia reasons. I’ve been a Saints fan since I was old enough to remember. I can’t justify participating and paying to support these rich spoiled bastards who think they are victims because the color of their skin - frick that shite. The flag and so-called systemic police brutality are apples and oranges. Players do it because they know it hurts patriotic citizens and it’s a method to get attention. I get that it protesting outside the police station, courthouse or even the Supreme Court would pay better dividends. Instead of inspiring me to change my position on the subject it’s pushed farther away - MUCH farther away.

How about stop playing the anthem. Honestly it’s a dumb game. Doesn’t need to be an expression of patriotism at the beginning of it any more than it’s needed before a rock concert.

Here in leftist Seattle, Russell Wilson doesn't say much about this at all, mainly because he doesn't want to alienate a large portion of his fanbase.
