Don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet.

If McSally loses to Mark Kelly (which it looks like she will) he can be sworn in in November.
That will be one less vote for Trump appointing a new judge.

If she loses, that will have been a brain fart by the governor of the state to have put her in that seat instead of a better candidate considering she already lost Flake’s seat.

This. I've said repeatedly that McSally is a loser candidate. Couldn't win last time, so she gets a Senate seat handed to her and runs to lose again.

Her only shtick is "I was in the Air Force." No measurable accomplishments in Congress.

She is going to lose both Senate seats in consecutive elections.

I don't think that has ever been done before.

The turtle needs to get this done before Nov.

It's going to be an epic battle.

He can be or will be.. Republicans have the majority leader and President of the Senate. They can tell him to wait until January.

It will. The process/hearing(s)/vote will he done before the election.

This is the common thought, but what can't forget is that the most likely scenario is a woman nominee. Of course everyone expects a man nominee to be relentlessly pounded these days, but a woman? We're just not going to see the same thing we saw with Kav. They can't have a bunch of old white men up there on national tv hazing the shite out of a woman. Woman on woman, they can get a little more into it, but again, we aren't gonna see a tense and aggressive confrontation between women either.

Yes there will be sone tense moments but you just can't berate any woman on national tv no matter who delivering it. So I'd guess it lasts, overall, not much more than half of what it would take with a Kav type. More of the actually relevant questions about various leanings, less confrontation about personal life.

Not that I'm an expert. Or really have any specialized knowledge in these areas whatsoever. Pretty much all guessing, but I like it.

Look what they did to Clarence Thomas. Hold back on a woman? Maybe not. Cat fight?

You can if she's a conservative woman.
The men will let kamala and Amy Klobuchar do the dirty work.

That, exactly. That's the freshest thing on their minds to overly avoid.
