Replace D.A.R.E. with Requiem for a Dream.

I think that would be much more effective.

People keep taling about this, but I don't know what they are referencing. Kinda like those weird folk who claim there's a 4th Indiana Jones movie.

The only one I am aware of was released in 1984.

Wait, I thought this board hates librul Hollywood elitists. Oh what's that? THIS movie and its filmmakers are cool because you agree with them? You're totally cool, and totally not phony at all!

People who say spelling is not important, can't spell. I can't spell.

Milius is anything but a liberal Hollywood elitist.

Also, when I used to teach, I would show the following in my classes:

The last episode of Ken Burns' The Civil War - end of war/intro to Reconstruction
Mr. Smith Goes to Washington - Depression/New Deal
Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb - Cold War
Mississippi Burning - Civil Rights Movement

Pretty sure NONE of the makers of those films would share a bit of my political philosophy, but their movies were useful in the lessons I taught (and were good)

If I was Sec of Educ I would require that the movie 'If' be shown to every high school junior.
