If I had kids I would get out of a blue state fast.

I cannot imagine my child being taught what is being pushed now. Red state public education is not a lot better but at least there’s checks and balances with republican state politicians but I hate what our education system has become. My wife taught public school in a pretty decent area but it was still so bad she retired early.

At this rate republicans better circle the wagons on school choice. The faster public education is defunded and put back into the hands of the parents the sooner we can end the control of the teachers unions and other department of education cancers that are destroying generations of kids.

Public school is dead!
I put my kid in private school would have home schooled him if I couldn't have afforded it!
I have been to a lot of shady bars but can't imagine sending my kid to the worst one to be taught by a bunch of queers!
They have Mexican whore houses with more morals than some American Public Schools!
The parents are guilty of child abuse if they knowingly send them there.
These kids will probably be so screwed up they will start shooting the schools up. Wait they already are!
Oops too late to stop it!
And we all see the Police Response!

You won’t have a choice. All direction is pushed at state level. You’d have to change it there. I assume your talking about MS. You don’t think liberal direction won’t be pushed out of MS? I may be misunderstanding what you’re saying here.

I'm in California and some of what is being taught, in our experience this is primarily in English/History, can be problematic in the realm of social justice. But we're also pretty involved parents and our son is more than willing to let us know when those instances happen. Other than that we're in pretty good shape for his classroom experience. We are not the type to let the schools raise him. Unfortunately that isn't the case for many kids and those are the ones most at risk of every negative influence.

Disagree. Local school boards matter.
This battle has to be fought from the ground up.
School boards, prosecutors and sheriffs make a huge difference on your daily life even if you don’t realize it.

You’re crazy if you think private is much better, find a non-woke school district like Vestavia Hills, AL.
