Add in the number that fear for their safety while simply walking down the street. The left are eating their own. I suspect many will "walk away". Hate for Trump only goes so far. Economic and personal safety fears will overcome Trump hate.

There’s a reason we have 1,000 proverbs about underestimating your opponent.
Hillary is such a classic case of it, in regards to Trump, it’s now taught in poli sci. What a tone deaf terrible campaign in hindsight. She was never really on the attack save a few benign barbs.
One of Trump’s strengths is he does not suffer from that, and why he’s a billionaire developer.
His base however seems to be falling into that trap. You can’t dismiss everything you disbelieve with “fake news” and not be sorely disappointed in life, or at least perpetually misinformed. But that’s another topic.

I am no Nostrodomis but Trump can still win with 40% of the vote because of the Electoral College.
National polls are almost meaningless to this factor. The only number that matters is 270 electoral votes.
Democrats can stuff ballots all they want in Democratic states, but the key will be the typical battleground states and where they swing.
