If blackface is not OK then why did NBC allow a white lady in black face on their network?

And why is the lady on the Real Housewives of New York still employed? The discussion on Megyn Kelly's show was about this costume. The last time I checked Bravo was owned by NBCUniversal.

I honestly don’t see all the hubbub about black face. If I see somebody made up in “white face“ it wouldn’t bother me one bit. Of course I don’t look for racial problems under every rock either

One is a reality TV show no one takes seriously on a station dedicated to trash tv. The other is a news personality. Maybe one should be held to a higher standard?

One made a comment. The other followed through with the comment.

I can't stand Kelly, but the obvious answer is they were looking for a reason to can her.

All she did was ask a question. That's it.

We know there is a double standard. The Progs love this and will mock anyone that questions it.

The comment itself wasn’t offensive. It’s all so superficial. Nobody is offended but NBC because they gave her 60 million.

Blackface is never ok, unless, well, you're Jimmy Kimmel...

Jimmy Kimmel as Karl Malone

Megyn Kelly isn't being sacked because she offended anyone. She's being sacked with faux outrage attached because NBC doesn't want to pay her the $64 million left on her contract.

Anyone remember Jimmy Kimmel's Karl Malone impressions?

I thought Dennis and Mac settled this debate?

Because this is not about black face. That is just the narrative. This is about the $69M owed to Kelly, and NBC is using this as a way to negotiate a smaller settlement.

No. That’s not all she did.

She didn't do anything remotely offensive. And you know it.
