it shouldn't just be tomorrow. You need to go the next sunday, and the next one, and the next one....

We are there most Sundays but was telling the wife earlier we will probably need to get there earlier, I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s crowded.

I imagine that his wife and family would be blessed if the story could bring them some sort of comfort or reassurance or peace at this time

I’m going to show up. But I’m angry. I’ve always turned the other cheek. I’ve always gave everyone the benefit of the doubt about what they believed. But I’m so angry and I hope church helps. We turned the other cheek for so long and then they killed one of us who peacefully debated

Righteous anger is ok as long as God commands it and guides us in our execution of it

We won't find the justification for it here or anywhere else on the Internet but it can be found in God's Word and in His house

I really don’t see where he was giving a sermon to anyone. Just a suggestion to spend some time with the Lord. Pretty good idea for many who are struggling right now.

I am going to my hunting lease.

To each his own.

I went Thursday morning and was depressed the whole way there.

Once spending time with G-d in his creation and our Golden Retrievers, I came home with a much better attitude and much less depressed.

to each his own, Go and acknowledge G-d and pray where you feel closest to the Almighty.

We live, in fact, in a world starved for solitude, silence, and private: and therefore starved for meditation and true friendship.

Thanks Owlie, really appreciate it. I wanted war after it happened. But God has us, death brings life. Prayers to Erika and his 2 young children. They’ll never be alone again, they have a whole nation behind them

Amen brother. I’ve been trying hard to be a better Christian, but something about this murder has flipped a switch in me. I feel the pull to Christ more now than ever in my life.

Yesterday morning driving to work I prayed about this entire Charlie situation. My sadness, despair and absolute rage has been dominating me. The moment I finished praying and conversing with Jesus, a weight was immediately lifted off of me. My rage was completely gone. I still want justice, but the red rage was cleansed from me. It was an amazing moment that is allowing me to see things with much more clarity than I was prior.

I’m looking forward to church in the morning with a new refreshed outlook, and I’m hoping this sticks with me forever
