I guarantee it happens as well. We will be forced into electric cars when there isn't enough lithium to go around and the Marxists will tell us "tough $hit". West coast is already placing "sales cease" orders on gas engine cars for 2035. Importing oil from other countries when we have our own....but by golly, you can be those in DC will continue to use gas powered cars while the rest of us suffer.

Obama was just as bold in telling the media, the world and everyone listening that his administration was gonna shut down every coal burner and every coal mine in the U.S.
Of course most citizens and companies that participated in coal use said, oh we’ve heard that line before, it’s just a political ploy, don’t worry about that, if he’s elected, we’ll pay his administration off and they’ll shut up, that’s how it had always worked.So millions voted for him, including unions that were paid for and supposed to represent and support the coal miners and unionized electrical workers.

Obama, his EPA and other government agencies proceeded to do exactly what he had said in his political platform, they shut down about 300 coal burners, most all significant coal mining and their laws continue to shut down coal burners now with almost all current coal burning plants targeted to be closed down by 2030, no later than 2035.
It has idled one of Americas strongest sources of reliable electric power, destabilized the power grid and caused the nation’s e energy future to be uncertain and unstable. It’s one of the biggest strategic mistakes the American citizens have ever fallen for and tolerated and it is continuing and under current laws it will not stop until every coal burning power plant is closed.
