Covid vaccines are vaccines by every definition. They train your immune system to recognize a pathogen. That's what vaccines do. They aren't "gene therapy," and anyone who thinks they are didn't pay attention in grade school too much.

There will always be breakthrough infections in vaccinated people, not least because of vax refusers making sure Covid remains endemic in the population. The person you mentioned who wound up in the hospital would be dead if they weren't vaxed, and remember also before the vaccines, many presumably healthy people died from Covid. This virus doesn't care how healthy you think you are. You might get over it in 24 hours - or it might make you sick for a month - or it might kill you. There's no way to know ahead of time how it will affect you, and there's no tests to determine any of that.

When the Covid vaccines first hit, he repeated every miserable bullshite cliche all of you are repeating ad infinitum:
It was a government plot to control people.
It's not really a vaccine.
He trusted his immune system.
Covid is no worse than a cold or flu.
Etc. etc. etc. EVERYTHING you folks are saying.
Then he caught Covid and he fricking died from it.
His last words to his family were to tell everyone to get vaccinated. He had nothing but great regret for not getting the shot and for telling his listeners not to.
He made a BIG mistake, and he knew it.
There's no way to know how Covid will affect you ahead of time. You might feel nothing at all, you might get just a little sick for a day or two, or it might kill you. There's no way to know. It was obvious to me GOP politicians and right-wing radio hosts were politicizing the vaccine to make money off suckers who tend to believe in conspiracy theories and think everything is a government plot.
They're playing you like a violin. There's an inherent narcissism in falling for such bullshite. You think you're so tough and you don't need to get vaccinated. I can't blame anyone for asking questions or being skeptical, but to see how hard you all fell for this stupid politicization of the vaccines just shows me how easily played you all are because anti-government and anti-science conspiracy theories appeal to your fake sense of being a rugged individual. It's so narcissistic it makes my jaw hit the floor.

You sound like a real idiot using medical terminology you obviously know nothing about. Don't lecture me about "spike proteins," OK? You do not know what you are talking about. You're just stringing together words to make a false point.
mRNA vaccines are vaccines. Just because they don't contain an antigen doesn't mean they aren't vaccines...unless you're a sucker for anti-vax propaganda, of course. Different types of vaccines work in different ways -- and antigen-based vaccines aren't the only kind of vaccine in existence.
Ugur Sahin is fully vaccinated for Covid. The quote you posted was taken out of context to make another false point:

At the same time, you're totally ignoring the fact that "Dr. Robert Malone" is paid top-dollar by anti-science assholes to sucker people into paying $100 for a one-minute video consult to get prescribed ivermectin, which study after study shows is totally useless against Covid.

Voluntary resignation by force for not taking the medication.
My other option was having a corporate lawyer review my religious beliefs and perhaps give me an exemption.
I just took another job. Got rehired a year later with a nice pay increase + time served.
