There have been cops murdering people, planting evidence, destroying evidence. Not most... But some... Since the beginning of time...

And what concerns you is enforcement of the quarantine... That's your wake up call? Figures

The cops I know have already stated, that yes, they will find a new job as opposed to going door to door enforcing gun confiscation.

So, in your opinion, the pro-Second Amendment sentiment from certain segments of the law enforcement community stems from fear instead of some reverence for the Constitution?

Was it Jefferson who said, “Liberty is when government fears the people; tyranny is when people fear the government”?

I am friends with a a few older cops, and the younger cops scare them, Too many ex-military with a attitude of if your not in the uniform you are the enemy, and too many spec-ops wannabes.

I feel like up until now most people would wager that cops would not obey an order to disarm the public if given the order.

Anyone who's ever dealt with a cop even once knows this was never true. Only people like Hannity who call everyone a patriot and call cops heroes believe this.

Blue helmet UN types trying it would be slaughtered. But there would be cops that would.

You don't go after the cops when that happens. The way to stop it is go after the ones ordering it. Put the fear of God in them.

Some local judge or mayor or whoever gives the order. If that's the last order he gives the next guy won't be so quick to trample on people's rights.

I never drive at night, never, last time I was pulled over, I made an illegal right hand turn in, KS, 20 years ago, I’m still trying to figure that one out. The butt hole knew I was from out of state. He was just tax collecting. Ok

The other night I was out, coming back from a friends house. I got pulled over.

The cop was nothing but a butt hole. Thing was I was out of his jurisdiction. I knew it, he knew it. I didn’t know until then my drivers license was expired. He just wanted to be a smart butt. If people think
Cops are racist, their not, their all butt holes!
This guy had nothing but smart butt things to say.

But who I am, I’m never combative. I’ll just let you talk. Cause you have your opinion, I have mine and I can keep mine to myself. Been anyone else, Cop would have went ape crap!

Yea, the smell of that leather belt goes to their head!

You don’t think for a minute that law enforcement won’t violate your rights? They the law! I don’t care what color you are, they the law!!

I've known it all along.

Good to see some eyes being opened.

I’m with this guy. Police have always had way to much power and very little oversight. I don’t trust them and for good reasons. Given the opportunity they will stand with the oppressor and stomp on the oppressed. They already do it.

They’ve never had any issues violating our fourth amendment rights. We have been witnessing them thrashing the first amendment for weeks now. What would ever make you think they’d have a problem shitting all over the second amendment?

Honestly? Not really. Cops have pretty hardened opinions on the first amendment and what they'd do if asked to do unconstitutional things already.

They hadn't thought about what to do in a pandemic so they got played. I think long term, that will be good for them.

Cops would jizz themselves if they had the opportunity to take away someone’s guns.

Were you pulled over for a traffic infraction, or was he fishing to see if you were traveling non-essentially in violation of the stay-home order?

The 2nd amendment is the only reason this country is currently afloat.

If we didn't have guns the govt would be issuing real bad things. Guns in the people's hand causes them to hesitate.

We're still winning, they don't really want to piss them off.

He thought I was a damn kid out at midnight. Yea I was speeding 58 in a 45. But I know that road. In Mississippi, SO cant have radar. Just so happens, City of Madison has a 1/4 mile Of that road in the city. He pulled me over just fishing. I was a mile past the city limit when he done it. But the only way to get to that spot in their city limits, coming down the road he was coming from, is to go through the county,

But he was such a butt hole is was really unbelievable!

He was just fishing!

If he could have, he would have written me a ticket for expired drivers license and speeding,
But he was just fishing.

The whole point of the Second Amendment is that the Government should fear those they govern and not the other way around.

Arming yourself is the only way to protect yourself and your family. The government is overreaching in every aspect of society nowadays, and everything they do is by force.

Man there’s a big difference between storming houses to confiscate weapons and telling people to social distance. One is a little more risky for the cops.

Yeah

Right

Just like the did in California, New Jersey, Maryland, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, Rhode Island

O wait a second. No they didnt at all. In some of those states they went so far as to illegal profile drivers with a CCW from another state to search the car and my state no longer even gives out that information to those states (Maryland was the big one).

Cops will go straight Nazi if allowed.
