This is spot on! To expand further, there is a very popular misconception that Trump is a racist. Most black people will regurgitate this. But when asked to provide an example, they have a very hard time coming up with an answer. The most common answer you will find is Trump's comments concerning Charlottesville that were taken out of context. But remember, Trump was called a racist long before Charlottesville.

This is quite often true. Many black folks don't agree with many parts of the Democratic platform. But nevertheless, the overwhelming majority of black people rich or poor, liberal moderate or conservative, rural or urban, male or female vote Democrat or not at all.

This is why. This is you telling black people to vote Democrat. I say this all time. There are tons of black conservatives or conservative leaning voters, There are vanishingly few black Republicans and it is entirely about them not feeling welcome in that party.
