I reluctantly voted for Trump in 2016. Now, I can’t wait to press that button in 2020

I was 100% convinced back then that Trump, a New York billionaire (and suspected democrat), was a wolf in sheep’s clothing. While I agreed with his message, I was pretty convinced that he was a plant to get his Clinton pals back in the White House. I’m glad he proved me wrong. We have a damn strong economy, tax cuts, real enforcement of immigration laws, and a leader who is standing up to other countries that have taken our generosity for granted.

I hope he keeps his foot on the throats of the Jihad Squad and the rest of the lunatic fringe that has become the mouthpiece of the left. The Democratic Party is dying on the hill before our very eyes.

Welcome aboard brother.

But it’s a shame you missed 2016. That was the most fun I’ve ever had.

I forgot to vote in 2016.

I’m definitely voting for Trump in 2020.

I realized that after how the Democrats treated Kavanaugh.

For the first that I can remember, I actually heard the words "extreme leftist" on CNN.

He's forcing them to say things out in the open that they used to make up other names for. Sure, they are quoting him, but no other HOPed has ever used that language, which allowed networks to gloss over left wing extremism and paint ONLY conservatives as extreme.

I was in the exact same spot!

Loved what he said he would do but didn't think he would do it.

Stopped reading here. You’re full of shite and looking for attention. Nothing about Trump exuded Democrat, and he damn sure didn’t like a thing about Hilary.

Hmm, let’s see. New Yorker that’s also a celebrity. That’s two things that go hand in hand with being a Democrat. There are plenty of pictures of him with the Clintons back in the day too.

Meh that was a pretty common concern/thought here during the first part of the 2016 primaries tbh

This describes me perfectly at that time. In fact, I was so sure he was a fraud that I abstained for the first time in my life (I’m in my mid-fifties).

He’s proven me wrong with room to spare, and I’ve never been happier to have been proven wrong. I will enthusiastically support the Orange Man in 2020 for a host of reasons, but his work in reshaping the judiciary is reason enough.

I never ever gave a shite about politics until I heard Obama utter the despicable phrase “We will fundamentally change America”. I was immediately thinking, WHAT?

That made me seriously start paying attention to politics.

In short, if you don’t want communism in America in your lifetime or in your children’s lifetime, abandon the Democratic Party right fricking now!

Except he was a dem till 2009 and he had been friends with the Clinton's for decades..... I'm all on the trump train now but I hated him in 2016, hated Clinton more, voted Johnson. If I could go back though I'd pull the lever for Trump.
