I enjoy seeing Christians assume all non-Christians are just so bored without baby Jesus in their lives.
Enjoy your bubble

Romans 6:20–23 (NASB95): For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness.
21 Therefore what benefit were you then deriving from the things of which you are now ashamed? For the outcome of those things is death.
22 But now having been freed from sin and enslaved to God, you derive your benefit, resulting in sanctification, and the outcome, eternal life.
23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Spot on.

i.e. Idols.

What is an Idol?

The Bible understands that idolatry extends beyond the worship of images and false gods. It is a matter of the heart, associated with pride, self-centeredness, greed, gluttony ( Php 3:19 ), and love for possessions ( Matt 6:24 ).

Idolatry is a major theme of the Bible. It challenges God's sovereignty.

Essentially, an idol can be anything that takes the place of God as the most important focus and priority in our life.

We are all guilty of this.

It's a bad ideal, because the implication is that all other sins aren't deadly when all sins are actually the same in terms of "deadliness."

To quote the lyrics from one of my favorite songs ….

“I’m no longer a slave to fear; I am a child of God.”

Are you sure about that? Have you read the Bible? Start in Proverbs, and get back to me on that. These sins, and their consequences, are sprinkled throughout the Bible.

Hosea 4:6 (NASB95): My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.

Worship - the feeling or expression of reverence and adoration for a deity.

Seems it's not only progs that are changing definitions...

AND...like a moth to a flame, the Dark Lord of Atheistic Satanism & Groomerism shows up to troll another Religious Thread.

By the way -- you can claim to read the Bible another hundred times but you still won't understand any of it by the 101st read.

Do you know why you can't? (HINT: The reasons are IN the same Bible you are unable to understand.) Must be quite frustrating, big guy. :-(

I've heard of people dying from exhaustion during a triathlon or something, but not during a frickaton. If so your heart was already a few beats away from death.

This is what the atheist crowd either ignores or doesn’t understand. They’re still worshiping something.

Everyone has a right to choose as they wish. I do not attack those who do not practice, atheist, etc. I expect the same respect in return.

so sensitive.

If polled, I suspect that more than half of purported Christians would say with confidence that the “Seven Deadly Sins“ come directly from a single Bible verse, as opposed to a popular 14th century Italian poet… the Jackie Collins of his day.
