Putin is as corrupt as a politician comes, Russia has been expanding their influence worldwide, and creating satelite states. A great example is that they basically own half of Venezuela . So yes - the entire imaginary beef has never really been about "Team USA" vs "Team Pooty" -- but isn't that how the sinister tPTB had to frame their narrative? And for those who dared reject the ll-or-nothing premise itself, it became, "Muh Russia!! Muh Putin!!" (OR else, you're disloyal!!)
