honest question: aside from obvious leanings, has Gregory ever been involved in any way with partisan politics? Has he worked for any staff, etc?

I've never really paid attention to him nor his show, but I don't think many liberals take him all that seriously either. Charlie Pierce and Simon Maloy are always railing on him.

No - he's good, but good doesn't have anything to do with it. MTP ratings have been tanking for a long time.

Don't know about Gregory but I once saw a list of network TV news personalities who either once worked for the Dems or were married to someone who worked for the Dems. The list had something like 20 recognizable names.
