How much will healthcare cost me on healthcare for all? I am tired of paying a premium on insurance so that all the illegals and welfare queens can get it for free. What do I want, Medicare for all or nah?

You don’t want for all. If one of your kids has a serious illness or serious injury, you don’t want the government telling you what you can and cannot do to treat your child. Think about the DMV, that’s government run. Do you want the DMV running things as important as healthcare?

Furthermore, there’s no way the Govt can pay for this. We don’t have the money.

Lastly, the best way to lower premiums is to lower the cost of drugs and healthcare in general. Big pharma is criminal. A prescription may only cost me 7 bucks at the pharmacy, but it costs my insurance company WAY more than that. This is one of the reasons our premiums are so high.

Have you ever visited a VA Hospital or Clinic? If so, then you may have seen first hand how inefficient a government run healthcare system can be. The VA leadership is inept, their acquisition process is beyond description and there are various unions that represent VA employees. There are documented cases where HCPs ignored veterans to the point the veterans passed away. Yet it is near impossible to hold them accountable. Is that what you want for your loved ones? If so, then yes you want socialized medicine.

Best to look at current government provided healthcare systems in America and Canada.
America #1. The VA. Pure shite! Enough said.
America #2. Medicare. Underpays for services forcing providers to overcharge the “market” payers. 100% Medicare coverage will bring a system very comparable to Canada’s.

Canada #1. Government healthcare is extremely responsive to bandaid needs. But with serious and expensive needs it makes you wait excessively long times. Take a number and hope you don’t die.

Canada #2. The wealthy option. Use free government for bandaid needs, but go elsewhere and pay for the life threatening stuff (usually the USA).

So if you’re rich or an employer paying workers insurance cost, go with free government, and purchase insurance in a free market healthcare country. Don’t forget to keep passports updated!

If you’re middle class. Vote nah.

If you’re on the nanny state dole. Vote nah and enjoy the world’s best healthcare free like before and after Obamacare.

If the government controls your healthcare then you are government property. Remember the baby, Charlie Gard, in the UK being removed from life support after a judge ruled the government could do it. Parents were told they couldn’t take him out of the country for treatment even if they paid for it.

Under Medicare for all, doctor appointments will be rationed by time. Price won’t matter. There will not be competition because the price reimbursement for cpt codes will be the same for every doctor/patient. There will be no incentive for doctors to work harder than the bare minimum. There will also be a greater physician shortage than we already have.

Doctor and hospital reimbursement would drop by 40%. To pay for Medicare for all, your taxes will double. And before BamaATL comes in this thread spreading lies and propaganda, I work in healthcare administration for a large healthcare system and am not delusional.

Quit your job, get on welfare. Set up a white BBQ sauce Lab in your back yard for chicken and hushpuppies. You'll be rich in no time and won't have to worry about this shite.
