I hate to inject logic...BUT

If "illegal" asylum seekers are fleeing from such horrific situations, then why would they come to America and choose to stay IF the process to be granted asylum was WORSE than the regime being fled?
If the asylum seekers removed their children from repressive and horrific situations, why would they give up their children to U.S. authorities, IF they truly feared for them being cared for by Uncle Sam?
Now, I'm not going to ever give up a child that I feel would be in danger, even if the child wasn't mine. I doubt these future government cheese eaters wouldn't give up their bambinos either.
This is NOTHING BUT A POLITICAL shite SHOW.

Frankly, I'm grateful to the US media for bringing this sad situation to worldwide attention.
Here's hoping that the news organizations in Mexico/Central/South America are giving it mass coverage as well, so as to persuade their poor, unfortunate citizens from considering putting their beloved offspring in such peril at the hands of the cruel American immigration officials.
Truly, I hope these loving parents will decide that potentially subjecting their children to such nightmarish conditions simply isn't worth undertaking the long trip just to take advantage of the greed and selfishness of their spoiled rich neighbors to the north.
Shame on our President for actually discouraging hardworking migrants from from pursuing the American Dream while circumventing the onerous bureaucracy required by current Federal labor laws for legal entry.

Liberals taking the moral high ground always makes me suspicious, these are the same people who are fine killing unborn babies. They want the votes. America is beginning to reject them, they sense it. Their best hope at getting elected to allow as many illegal immigrants in as possible, and do not require an ID to vote.
