I had forgotten the Fort Hood shooter was paralyzed from the incident

That’s gonna add an extra degree of satisfaction for me - watching the air get let out of him while seated in a wheelchair.

Very few people know that he shot up the unit that he was augmenting as a ninety day rotator (for those who understand this method) for deployment (it was an Army Reserve combat stress control detachment). That he was (theoretically) there to get his readiness processing done with them prior to their mobilization and deployment.
I have no sympathy for him whatsoever. None.

I kind of picked up some of those details at the time, but you and I would have, just generally, paid more attention than the average person.
On the other hand, I forget, sometimes, that your field specifically made you acutely aware of this incident. Did you know anyone involved?

Thanks Ace. I did not know any of them personally. I was in Army War College when it happened and I still remember how sick to my stomach I was as I was able to rapidly put the pieces together. This vile piece of trash needs to be made an example of. Cannot wait for them to finally administer justice.
