Hope he picked up that broken glass, otherwise he just gave the evidence on video he's a law breaker: littering.

Too bad there is a big D behind his name. Tate isn’t my favorite but I will not vote for a Democrat in this current political climate.

Yep. That’s the craziest part. He’s a gun grabber.

Hood will be the first D I ever vote for. frick Tate.

Gosh we all hate Tate. But we need conservative judges and agency heads.
Mississippi has a fully funded rainy day fund.
We start a lottery next month for infrastructure and education funding.
Major industry is coming to Mississippi in droves. Toyota, Continental Tire, etc.
Tate’s a certified a-hole but we have never been in as good of shape. Hood wants to wipe out our emergency fund in a matter of days.
The last time Mississippi had a Democrat Governor, there was $705.56 in the general fund the day he left. Most everyone on this board has more in their checking account.
Today there is over a billion and taxes are less. Go figure.

Judges are elected in this State (with the exception of Municipal Judges). I work with them everyday.
As for the rest, there is a super majority in the Legislature. I'd rather them just overturn anything they don't like done by Hood then rubber stamp more Tate BS, Specifically with education in this state.

Did he shoot straight on his proposed $974M tax increase to fund all of his bullshite programs? Math don't work.

I work in education in this state. My wife is a public high school teacher.
Funding isn’t the problem with education in this state.

And you tell me if you think that super-majority in the legislature is going to do that. They have the purse strings, and it's ruby fricking red. That's not changing. But don't worry, even if Hood wins the vote, he's not winning a majority of House districts. He won't come close there, and that super majority will install Tate as the next gov. My vote is more symbolic in that I truly do despise everything about Tate.

Mississippi’s electoral college system has only been used once. Dems weren’t throwing a fit when their candidate won without winning the popular vote.
I believe we are going to see a crazy election. I think Tate wins but doesn’t get the majority. Hood is going to Al Gore this thing to the Supreme Court.

Funding isn’t the issue in EBR public schools either.

My wife is a public school teacher, in one of the best districts in the State mind you, and teachers get shite on in this state.

I honestly thing Tate wins the vote outright. To many populated areas are super red. The city of Oxford, the delta (which doesn't have a lot of votes) and Hinds County are the only heavy Dem voting areas. The pine belt, Rankin, Madison and Coast areas all go red, and will carry Tate.
