China has the 2nd most Billionaires.

Even European nations that this board swears are Socialists have Billionaires.

America has created nearly a hundred Billionaires since Trump became president.

Bottom line: they don’t want to work they think this is the way to not work, Stalin has a different idea of a work day.

I would rather work for anyone other than the government, and that’s exactly what you get with Socialism

A large number of human beings will always think that the government can solve their financial anxieties and make their financial problems go away, if only the exact right combination of people were in the government.

It's economic populism, and a lot of people will always fall for it.

Trump never would've gotten elected the first time wihtout coming in as an economic populist. People fell for it then, and now people on the other end of the political spectrum are falling for it now.

A lot of people are stupid, basically.

I have this discussion with my daughter quite frequently these days. I wouldn't say she's a socialist, but she's 17 and asks questions like why can't there be universal health care or why can't we have a system where everyone has access to everything.

The examples I give her always revolve around the idea that in socialism the government might provide for everyone, but it's the government who determines how much is provided.

Everyone gets housing and a car, but the housing sucks and the car is a Mitsubishi Mirage or worse.

For kids who are at competitive schools, the grade point average distribution analogy hits them like a ton of bricks.

Instead of you earning your A, everyone gets a C.
If everyone gets a C, how much effort do you put into your studies?
If everyone gets a C, how much effort does a C student put into their studies?

Where a law of averages "might" make everyone "average" (C effort), human nature distorts the output to a D- average effort.

They get Social Democracies like Sweden mixed up with actual Socialism. It's one thing for the government to ensure a floor for the citizen like Social Democracies do versus something like Cuba. Both are expensive but actual real Socialism never works out.
