People, you're foolish if you think all avenues weren't addressed and researched tediously. If Trump thought this would be a losing effort after consulting his advisers and lawyers then he wouldn't have done it.

It might work, but it will set a hugely dangerous precedent that people on both sides will bitch about for decades until eventually a consitutional amendment is passed to limit the power of presidents during an emergency.
