Almost all cities are shitholes run by dems... 99 % of them. Doesn't matter where it's at. I feel sorry for you frickers that have to look at interstates and overpasses...... Gimme the woods and a simple life all day everyday

Louisiana does not allow the use of deadly force to protect only property. But you can use it if you are legally inside of a home or business and someone breaks in.
Texas allows use of deadly force to protect property in certain circumstances.
I would urge you to find out what your state laws are on that. I have personally seen someone's ignorance of those laws create major issues for him in Louisiana. He was accused of calling a guy over to his house and then shooting the guy when he showed up. Louisiana has an exception that someone who brings on a difficulty cannot claim self defense.
It is good knowledge to have about your jurisdiction as to what you are allowed to do.

Here is some unsolicited free legal advice. Say a few months from now you get into a road rage incident where somebody comes through your driver's side window and you have to shoot him in the face and he dies. You get brought in for questioning on the scene and your phone is taken as evidence. They get a warrant to unlock it and dump all of your social media posts.
And there is a post about how you don't care what the law says, you'll kill somebody however you please. I know it seems innocuous, but there are prosecutors out there who would turn this around on you.

1) I have resolve however, if the situation escalates' I won't hesitate. My vehicle is an extension of my home in Texas.

I would definitely consider Miami to be in the southern part of the country, with a very diverse population.
